Our relationship with you, our customer, starts with a free evaluation of your site by one of our Energy Consultants. We work with you to determine your energy needs, and then recommend solutions that fit within your budget.

Solar Light goes beyond designing and installing a solar system. We advise customers to replace energy-wasting lights and other appliances with cost-effective energy saving devices, and even offer suggestions to remodel customers’ homes to take full advantage of natural cooling and lighting.

A Typical Household System The main components of a Solar Light system are shown in the figure below. Solar panels collect sunlight and convert it into electrical energy, and a battery stores the energy produced in the daytime for use at night. Appliances consume the electricity produced.

Wires are used to connect the system together, and a controller may be needed to regulate the charge on the battery. If the user wishes to use ordinary household appliances, and inverter is used to convert the battery power into alternating current (AC).
